Hey, I'm Omar

I'm a product designer working on technically dense software: data integration 🔌, orchestration 🔀, and most recently the agentic enterprise platform 🤖 at Workato. I make complexity legible and build the structure a team can keep shipping against 🚢.

2025–2026

Enterprise MCP servers

I led design for a self-service product where business teams compose, publish and govern their own MCP servers. No engineer required, and IT keeps control.

2024–2025

Helping you customize your data schema

I took over a shipped ETL product that had no designer on it. Field-level PII hashing, object re-syncs and sync-type monitoring all landed by extending its existing patterns, so nobody had to relearn the screen.

2021–2024

Patterns for data activation

I established the core workflows marketers use to sync product and customer data into their tools. Later the same patterns carried building and managing campaigns with agents.

2019–2021

Pipelines data teams can trust

I was the first designer on the app. I rebuilt onboarding and connector setup so a non-technical user could reach a finished first sync without an engineer.

From Kickstarter to Best Buy Founding designer for the first mainstream smartwatch. Acquired by Fitbit.
