I grew up in in Cleveland, Ohio, moved to Kansas City for High school, then a few years after graduating moved to San Francisco for 11 years before moving back to Kansas City to be near family.

I’m originally Iraqi and I have lived in Mosul, as well as Muscat, Oman, and have frequently visited Abu Dhabi and Dubai over the years to speak at and attend international conferences on the subject of technology in Education.

Right now I live in Olathe, KS. I enjoy cooking, spending time with family and running trails. I recently started a side project in the form of a clothing brand called floofsinkoofs.com which i work on in my spare time.
